So, I had a minor bonding moment with one of the more conservative Mother's (think chino's, khaki shirt and sensible shoes) from mchicks_cords.jpgy son's school this morning.

The conversation quickly rolled around to what we do in our spare time; and to make myself seem half-intelligent and a Mum who strives for personal fulfillment I dropped the line that I write (on my blog) for self development and also dabble with Twitter and Facebook.  Well, the sheer excitement and enthusiasm for more knowledge was overwhelming,  I found myself sitting on the schoolyard bench (whilst waiting for "reading duty") explaining the "in's and outs" of Blogging, Twitter and my world of like-minded virtual friends.  She was extremely interested and was heading home to start her own Twitter account to help break the monotony of being a SAHM with a babe in arms.  Better still (and my partner will appreciate this sheerly because he thinks I am a novice at Internet banking) she thinks of me as some type of "with it techno guru" that has her finger on the pulse so to speak.

Thank god I refrained from telling her my blog site name.  After one read she would have a firm grasp on the fact that I write about dancing myself stupid until I wet my pants and cosmetic procedures available in achieving a tight vajayjay.  I certainly at this stage in my school journey (cause it's my journey too OK) don't want to tarnish my reputation.  For the moment I will embrace the label of "Techno Chick" and RAM, sorry RUN with it!

Soooo funny - I know the type. I went on an excursion with Max's class the other day and one of the fathers who was also there to help had brought his knitting along with him in case he got a spare moment during the day. I always thought it would be fairly cool to be able to knit - after seeing the monster he was creating (knit one pearl one) I'm pleased I can't.
